The History of the Albatroz

The history of Móveis Albatroz started with the brothers Alceu, Gilberto and Moacir Paludetto, who founded the company Paludetto & Cia. Ltda. Initially, they worked with lathe, welding and metalwork services in a metallurgy.

In 1986, the owners decided to expand the business and invest in wooden furniture manufacturing. That was when the Móveis Albatroz brand was born. In the beginning, the company produced turned ivory bunk beds and, soon after, it started to manufacture plywood trunks and shoe racks.

Always attentive to market needs, in 1988 they started producing wardrobes with thin pressed sheets. Shortly thereafter, the raw material evolved into particleboard coated with FF, which boosted sales and allowed the company to expand its product line to include complete bedrooms and shelving.

In 2001, Palumóveis was founded, a subsidiary of Paludetto & Cia. Ltda., focused on the production of racks, shelving and wardrobes. In 2003, the Móveis Albatroz line underwent an important change: the furniture coating, previously made with FF, was replaced by UV printing, following the Palumóveis standard.

Over the years, the company invested heavily in machinery and infrastructure. Until 2005, it operated in two separate units: the headquarters, with 2,500 m², and the branch, with 3,000 m². With the growth of the market and the need for modernization, a new 6,000 m² unit was built in 2006, which, with successive expansions, now occupies 15,000 m².

Currently, Móveis Albatroz continues to innovate and offers a diverse line of products, including wardrobes, dressers, headboards, and the Mimo Line.

Shortly after, the raw material was replaced by FF coated chipboard sheets and the products became a great sales success, which led the company to produce complete bedrooms and shelves. In 2001, the Paludetto & Cia branch was created and built. Ltd, with the brand Palumóveis producing racks, shelves and wardrobes. At the beginning of 2003, an important change took place in the covering of products in the Móveis Albatroz line. The agglomerate that was previously coated with FF, started to be coated with UV printing, like the products of the Palumóveis brand. Over the 30 years, Albatroz has made several investments in machinery and physical structure. Until 2005, the company had two units in different locations: the head office had an area of 2,500 m² and the branch had 3,000 m². In 2006, with the innovation and dynamics of the market, a new unit with 6 thousand square meters was built, which currently with the increase became 15 thousand square meters. The current line of furniture is made up of the following products: Wardrobes, Dressers, Headboards and Mimo Line.
